The sensors are built using the latest gas detection technology:

electrochemical cells for toxic gases and oxygen
catalytic combustion for combustible gases
infrared for CO2, Hydrocarbons, Freon, N2O and other toxic gases for specific applications.

The control units are available in different formats: a modular 4 channels in rack format, a 4 channels in a wall mounting plastic case, a stand alone one sensor unit in an explosion proof metallic case, a 2 channels and a 16 channels both with large touch screen display in a wall mounting enclosure.

Sensors / transmitters:

Sensors are connected to the control units with a 4-20 mA wiring. The connection to the Explorer 2 and to the Explorer GasScreen can be also in RS-485. Transmitters PCB boards for remote sensors are provided with a LCD display showing reading and current and with 3 buttons for one man calibration. All sensor/transmitters with catalytics and some with electrochemical cells are ATEX approved.
