Explorer RTC gas sensor series permit to detect combustibles and flammable gases in ATEX classified areas.
RTC 1002 detect combustible gas sensor by a catalytic cell. It has a poison resistant pellistor, suitable to use this sensor head inside environments rich of silicones, lead, Sulphur-containing compounds, and halogen hydrocarbons.
It comes complete with a 4-20mA transmitter in a Exd enclosure.
Transmitter PCB board has a local display for service operations and it also has a special circuitry for temperature variation compensation.
